Artisti Season Puglia - Press conference in Brindisi

From 26th July to 2nd August, at the Swabian Castle in Brindisi, the artistic season of the
Project IPA Archeos will take place. A cross-border theatre season hosting eight productions,
among which three will be Apulian plays. The international season will be presented next
Wednesday 11th July, at 11.00 o’clock, in Brindisi at the Lecture Room of Granafei Nervegna
Palace. At this event will participate Ms Silvia Godelli - Assessor to Mediterranean, Culture
and Tourism of Apulia Regional Administration, Mr. Mimmo CONSALES, Mayor of Brindisi,
Carmelo Antonio Bruno, Navy Commander of Brindisi, Carmelo GRASSI, the President of
The Consortium Teatro Pubblico Pugliese. With the patronage of the city of Brindisi, in
collaboration with the New Verdi Theatre, and the courtesy of the Navy which authorized
the use of the Swabian Castle as location for the theatre season. The project Archeo.S
System of the Archeological Sites of the Adriatic Sea CBC Programme co-funded by the
Cross-Border Cooperation IPA Adriatic has brought together six partners: the Consortium
Teatro Pubblico Pugliese (Lead Beneficiary), the Teatro Stabile of Marche, the City of Fier
(Albania), the town of Pazin (Croatia), the Municipality of Igoumenitsa (Greece) and Abruzzo
Region. All the countries involved overlook the shores of the Adriatic Sea and are linked
by the common goal of enhancing the archaeological and historical heritage of their areas
through special initiatives and activities of live performance.
